Baylor will be closed on these holidays and only certain areas will need employees to work. Biweekly paid employees working any holiday will be paid at time and one-half. Employees required to work any holiday will arrange an alternate day off with their supervisor. The law school, DPS, and possibly other areas may have coordinated slightly different holiday rules. Regular full-time or part-time staff and temporary employees with benefits are eligible for paid holidays provided the employee is in pay status on the workday immediately preceding and the workday immediately following the holiday.
